Vinyl graphics can be installed on almost any smooth and wax-free surface, including glass, plexiglass, painted surfaces, fiberglass, some plastics, etc.

As long as your paint has cured at least 30 days after fresh paint, the vinyl will not harm the vehicle's painted surfaces. We use only high quality vinyl materials to ensure this. Certain vinyl material, such as carbon fiber, metallics, reflective, or chrome have stronger adhesives, and can be difficult to remove. Also leaving the vinyl graphics on the vehicle longer than the expected life can cause them to be harder to remove.

No, vinyl graphics will not affect your rear defroster in any way.

Vinyl graphics can last anywhere from 3-4 years to 8-9 years depending on the type of vinyl used. Generally, we use a 4 year vinyl for most vehicle graphics. We have some 6 year vinyls as well. Additionally, we can always special order other colors, or longer lasting vinyl.

Unlaminated, printed vinyl graphics will last about 1-2 years as they have no abrasion or UV protection. Lamination can extend that up to 5-6 years because it is adding both UV protection as well as abrasion resistance.

Vinyl graphics applied to glass are very simple to remove. You can just use a razor blade scraper. Simply scrape the vinyl graphics off the glass surface. Once removed clean the surface with isopropl alcohol or other glue cleaner. For vinyl graphics applied to paintwork, use a heat gun or let the vehicle sit in the sun. Use your finger nail to lift the edge of the vinyl and then slow pull the vinyl off. Again use some cleaner to remove the glue.

We recommend allowing 24-48 hours after installation before washing your vehicle. This allows the adhesives to bond. After this time period you can wash just like you normally wash paintwork. Keep in mind that waxing the vinyl may cause undesired reactions with the vinyl graphics. Try not to use a pressure washer directly on the vinyl graphics as well.

Different states have different laws and regulations regarding graphics placement. Most vinyl graphics are legal as long as they do not block the driver's vision.

On average, typical turnaround time can be from 2 to 5 days. Large format printing can take longer for ink drying time, and lamination processes. We can always accomodate same day or next day jobs, but they will have a rush fee added to the cost.

Choosing a color can be very difficult. When choosing for a vinyl graphic to be installed on a window, keep in mind that the surface is naturally dark, so using dark-colored decals would not be as visible. Of course! Buying graphics and stickers in higher volume is always most cost effective than purchasing in small quantities. Depending on the size and style of decal there might be a substantial discount applied to higher quantities. We also offer repeat customer discounts which is factored into our quotes. We try to take care of our customers and race teams that require frequent changes in vinyl graphics.

Vector artwork (ai,eps) works best for us and will provide you with the best quality output, however we can convert bitmaps to vector artwork for an additional fee. For digital printing, 300+ dpi always works best, but large prints still look very good at even 100 dpi.
